自 2022 年 1 月 10 日起，教育局Google以及學校Google 屬免費帳戶，Meet 會議錄製功能將停用。
自 2022 年 1 月 10 日起，Google Meet 的會議錄製功能將恢復為 Google Workspace for Education 需付費的進階版功能。也就是說，屆時將只有使用 Google Workspace for Education Plus 或 Teaching and Learning Upgrade 版本的機構可以繼續使用這項功能。
